What you are buying
YAT supplies personalised digital comedy reveals for adults. The standard prices are: Quick 99p, Photo £1.49, Video £1.99 and five-send pack £3.99. Prices are shown in GBP and include any tax that YAT is required to include.
No account is required: an adult visitor may create, pay for and send a Twat at the standard price without joining YAT.
Optional member welcome offer: a joined YAT member receives 15% off their first three completed individual Quick, Photo or Video purchases. The current discounted totals are Quick 84p, Photo £1.27 and Video £1.69, subject to Stripe’s penny rounding. Packs are excluded. YAT reserves and records each offer slot on the server and Stripe applies the coupon at Checkout. After three completed discounted purchases, the next eligible checkout returns automatically to 99p, £1.49 or £1.99. An abandoned reservation expires so it cannot permanently consume an offer.
A buyer writes a light-hearted reason, pays through Stripe’s hosted Checkout and receives permission to create one secure private reveal, or five credits for a pack. A Video reveal can include a permitted clip of up to 20 seconds with YAT opening, watermark, 18+ marker and closing screen embedded into the shared file, plus an optional permitted photo. The sender chooses the recipient and presses send in WhatsApp, Messages, email or another app. YAT does not automatically contact recipients. Secure reveal links expire after 30 days.
The checkout button clearly creates an obligation to pay. The buyer can review the reason, format, recipient, delivery method and price before opening Stripe Checkout. Stripe shows the final total before payment.
Cancellation, faults and refunds
The buyer expressly requests immediate supply of the personalised digital service and acknowledges that the 14-day cancellation right may be lost once the service has been fully supplied. This does not remove consumer rights where the service is faulty, not as described or was not supplied.
For a payment or refund issue, use Report a concern, choose “Payment or refund”, and include the payment date and Stripe receipt reference. Never include a full card number.

Optional membership: Sign in with ChatGPT provides YAT with a stable user identifier, verified email and available display name. YAT stores the member’s chosen display name, join time, three welcome-offer slots and any separate marketing choice. Marketing is off by default and is not required to join or receive the discount. A member can change that choice later.
Payments: Stripe receives card details. YAT receives a payment session reference, product, amount, random device identifier, any member-offer slot and credit balance. The lawful bases are contract, legal obligation and legitimate interests in fraud prevention, accounting and legal claims.
Private reveals: YAT stores the category, reason, score and a random secure token for 30 days. Recipient phone numbers and email addresses stay on the sender’s device. Photo-card processing stays on that device. The sender’s browser builds the YAT opening, watermark, 18+ marker and closing screen into a Video Twat locally, stores that branded file temporarily so it can survive Stripe Checkout, then shares it from the same device; the private video is not uploaded automatically.
Twat Board: a sender nomination is recorded against the private reveal. If the recipient chooses to continue, YAT stores their member identifier, display name, caption, exact consent times, moderation status and the media they upload. The file remains in private object storage until the operator approves it. A report hides it immediately. Rejected or removed media is deleted.
Reports and Night Out submissions: YAT stores report details, an optional reply email and any linked reveal or Board reference to investigate and remove content. Night Out media, contact email and consent confirmations remain in a private moderation queue and are never automatically published.
First-party analytics: YAT records page views, on-site actions, referring website, broad country and region, device type, browser and operating system to understand and improve the service. A campaign link can also supply YAT’s own source, medium, campaign and creative labels so the operator can compare arrivals with checkout progress. Raw IP addresses and full user-agent strings are not stored. A keyed one-way identifier provides an approximate unique-visitor count without setting an analytics cookie. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals are honoured, obvious bots are excluded and no analytics data is shared for behavioural advertising. The lawful basis is YAT’s legitimate interest in measuring and improving the service.
Retention: analytics events are retained for no more than 400 days; private reveals expire after 30 days; a device-local Video Twat draft is removed when the sender clears it or when the site next finds it to be more than 24 hours old; open safety reports are normally retained up to 12 months; rejected public-upload media is deleted after moderation; payment and tax records may be kept for the legally required accounting period.
Your rights: you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or object to processing. Optional marketing is based on consent and can be withdrawn. You may complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office. YAT does not sell personal information or use behavioural advertising.
Acceptable use and moderation
YAT is for adult humour about harmless behaviour. It must not be used for threats, harassment, hate, doxxing, sexual content, impersonation, repeated unwanted contact, serious factual allegations, child targeting, public pile-ons or material that infringes privacy or intellectual-property rights.
Do not use a photograph or video unless you have permission, everyone identifiable is 18+ and capable of consenting, and the media will remain private unless everyone identifiable agrees to publication. Never include anyone unconscious, exposed, distressed or humiliated. Never add an address, phone number, email, workplace, number plate or precise location.
Twat Board safeguard: the sender may nominate only a paid Photo or Video Twat. Nomination is not publication. The recipient must separately sign in, upload the exact attachment they received and confirm their own agreement, every identifiable adult’s agreement, adult status and permission for public publication. YAT then manually reviews it. Staged YAT examples are visibly labelled and are not represented as customer posts.
YAT may reject, remove, restrict or preserve evidence of content where necessary for safety, complaints, fraud prevention or law.
Reports, complaints and takedown
Anyone can use the Report a concern form for harassment, privacy, suspected illegal content, copyright, payments or another issue. A report receives a reference number. If it identifies a private reveal, that reveal is disabled immediately while it is reviewed. If it identifies a public Board post, the post is hidden immediately while the operator reviews it.
Add an email only if you want a reply. If somebody is in immediate danger, contact the emergency services. YAT’s operator is the person accountable for online-safety compliance and review of the service’s written risk assessment.
Adults only
YAT contains strong language and is not designed for children. The curated homepage and editorial newsroom can be browsed without giving YAT personal details. A visitor must make an 18+ declaration before creating a personalised private reveal, joining, uploading media or purchasing. Purchase and public-media permissions are confirmed separately.
The declaration is stored only on that device and is not identity-based age assurance. YAT therefore treats the public browse surface conservatively as potentially accessible to children, keeps user media out of it unless dual consent and moderation are complete, and will review access data, reports and Ofcom guidance. Stronger age assurance must be introduced if the service or evidence requires it.
